Best Time to Go
The “shoulder” seasons of Spring and Fall can give you some of the best weather in the park. Temperatures can be extremely hot in the summer, oftentimes topping 100F. In the spring and fall, however, be prepared for nighttime temperatures that can be frigid.
Crowds are not generally an issue in the park. March is the busiest month, but if you wait until April, there will be fewer people. Crowds will peak again in July.
Year-Round Temperatures
Average monthly high temperatures range from an average of 97.3℉ (36.3 ℃) in June to 56.5℉ (13.6 ℃) in December.
