Best Time to Go
For the best weather, visit November through May. The temperatures are more moderate during the winter months. In the summer, Death Valley can be the hottest place on Earth and you’ll likely face temperatures well over 100 degrees. If you’re seeking out the heat, June through August will provide you with an experience you can’t get anywhere else.
The wintertime is also the best time to avoid crowds. If you’re looking for more solitude, park attendance is lowest November through February.

Average monthly high temperatures range from an average of 117.4℉ (47.4 ℃) in July to 65.6℉ (18.7 ℃) in December.
