Top 3 "Must See"

Have limited time, or just looking for some guidance on the best way to spend your time in the park? Here are our Top 3 “Must See” attraction in the park.

Rim Drive is a 33 mile (53km) road that encircles the lake. There are 30 pull-offs where you can stop and take in the view or get pictures. Check the weather conditions as the road may be closed during the winter. Stop at the visitor center for more information.

Taking a boat tour of the lake and visiting Wizard Island is a unique experience in the national parks. There are three types of tours. You can just tour the lake if you want, you can tour the lake and Wizard Island, or you can go straight to the island. Visit our tours page to reserve your spot. TOURS ARE CANCELED FOR 2021 DUE TO COVID-19. 

Built in 1915, the historic Crater Lake Lodge has amazing views overlooking the lake. You can stay in the lodge or just stop in for a quick drink or a meal. The lodge is generally open from May through October.
